Nylon brush wire
Nylon 6: Known for its excellent recovery, this material offers remarkable temperature and wear resistance. It has a low melting point, coupled with a broad temperature range for processing.
Nylon 66: Compared to nylon 6, nylon 66 offers slightly improved hardness, recovery, and wear resistance, withstanding temperatures up to 150 degrees Celsius.
Nylon 610: With a lower density and reduced water absorption compared to nylon 66 and nylon 6, this nylon provides excellent stability and is easy to mold and process. Its strong alkali resistance makes it more durable against common weak acids than its nylon counterparts, though it is readily soluble in formic acid.
Nylon 612: With minimal water absorption, this nylon boasts the highest temperature resistance and mechanical strength among its peers, resulting in a longer brush lifespan.
Metal brush wire (colored/colorless)
Brass: Renowned for its robust wear resistance, brass is a favorite choice in industrial products.
Carbon steel: Often referred to as carbon steel, this alloy contains less than 2.11% carbon, contributing to its unique properties. With increased carbon content comes heightened hardness and strength, though this may reduce future pliability.
Stainless steel: Exhibiting a melting point between 1398-1454ºC, stainless steel provides superb corrosion and heat resistance, along with notable strength and mechanical properties. It accommodates hot processes like stamping and bending, without heat treatment hardening, and offers atmospheric corrosion resistance.
Abrasive brush wire
Silicon carbide: This material is distinguished by high thermal conductivity, a small thermal expansion coefficient, and excellent wear resistance, making it invaluable in abrasive applications and beyond.
Alumina: Predominantly utilized for slight grinding, polishing, deburring, and textile grinding, alumina's high temperature resistance makes it ideal for high-tech and high-temperature brushing applications.
Plant and animal hair brush silk
Pig poly: Offers superb durability and water resistance, alongside anti-static properties and resistance to high temperatures, acids, and alkalis.
Horsehair: Sourced from a horse's tail, this hair surpasses standard horsehair in hardness, diameter, and length. Renowned for its long fibers and strong tensile strength, it resists moisture effectively and is difficult to break.
Horse hair: With exceptional toughness and wear resistance, horsehair is best suited for polishing, cleaning, dust removal and similar industrial uses, though it is not resistant to acids and alkalis. Brushes crafted from horsehair can withstand temperatures of approximately 190 degrees Celsius.
Wool: Known for its soft texture, wool brushes are gentle on surfaces, ensuring no damage during use, and exhibit an exceptionally refined texture.
Plant hair - Mexican white brown (sisal): This natural plant fiber stands out with its superior anti-static properties.
